To address the complexities of optimizing eye health in people living with diabetes around the globe, the Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) Barometer Study sought to assess the awareness of diabetic eye diseases and access and barriers to diabetes management, including screening for eye diseases and timely treatment.
The DR Barometer Report of Global Findings synthesize and describe the views of 7,000 adults with diabetes and health care professionals in this multi-method study. The evidence highlights good practice, but also emphasizes the urgent need to address gaps in the healthcare system.
The DR Barometer Community is a growing multidisciplinary network of thought leaders and organizations who are working together to address gaps in the prevention and care of diabetic eye diseases. Join today to help improve vision health outcomes among people living with diabetes.
