To address the complexities of optimizing eye health in people living with diabetes around the globe, the Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) Barometer Study sought to assess the awareness of diabetic eye diseases and access and barriers to diabetes management, including screening for eye diseases and timely treatment.

The DR Barometer Report of Global Findings synthesize and describe the views of 7,000 adults with diabetes and health care professionals in this multi-method study. The evidence highlights good practice, but also emphasizes the urgent need to address gaps in the healthcare system.
